Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently a part of CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. She is an Ohio native, and wasn't interested in currencies or markets while in college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com as in school at New York University. This was when she had the first experience of business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. The position was for four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. When she returned to the US in the fall, she was able to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. She became a television anchor eventually. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as a correspondent. After serving as co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange," and Power Lunch', she was hired by CNBC in December 2013. Then, she was offered the position at Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. One of the most prominent journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus is on global consumer stories since joining CNBC.
